ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has convened meeting on Monday to discuss financial matters including negotiations with IMF and Tax Amnesty Scheme.
During the meeting briefing will be given on financial matters. The briefing will be attended by cabinet members and MNAs of PTI. Advisor to PM on finance Hafiz Sheikh and members of government economic team will also participate therein.
It is pertinent to mention here PM has rejected the draft agreement reached between finance ministry and IMF at staff level. PM wants soft conditions on the matter of inflation and he has also directed to persuade IMF in reducing tax collection target.
