TAUNSA: Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar, father of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Monday.
He was a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1985 to 1988 and from 2002 to 2013.
Born in Barthi, tribal area of Dera Ghazi Khan District, Sardar Fateh had been living in Taunsa Sharif. He was also the tumandar of Baloch tribe Buzdar.
He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as an independent candidate in the general elections of the year 1985.
He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q) from PP-241 (Dera Ghazi Khan-II) in the general elections of the year 2002.
He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of PML-Q from PP-241 (Dera Ghazi Khan-II) in the general elections of the year 2008.
