RAWALAKOT : (Parliament Times) A condolence reference was held to condole the death of journalist Raja Muhammad Hafeez Kiani here on Thursday.
It was attended by MLA Sagheer Chughtai, member AJK Council Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, former advisor to the government Sardar Muhammad Haleem Khan, Director General Information Raja Azhar Iqbal, Vice Chairman AJK press foundation Sardar Zulfiqar, President Ghazi-e-Millat press club Rawalakot Ijaz Qamar, administrator Sardar Zakir Sher Afzal, trader’s representatives, civil society and lawyers attended it.
Addressing the condolence reference DG Information Raja Azhar Iqbal said that Kiani was courteous, soft spoken and considerate human being. He always highlighted Kashmir issue and social problems through his pen, he added. He said Kiani’s journalistic services would always be remembered. The director general said government was taking measures for the welfare of the journalist community. He felicitated Ghazi-e-Millat press club for holding condolence reference of Raja Muhammad Hafeez Kiani.
