Islamabad: Bail of PPP Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, spokesperson Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been approved.
Additional District and session judge took up riots before NAB office case for hearing on Wednesday.
Additional District and session judge approved the bail of Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar Counsel took the plea that talking against NAB is not a crime.
Counsel said that we have become the part of the investigation and statement has also been submitted.
He said that workers have to come on the occasion of appearance of Asif Zardari and Bilawal Zardari in NAB.
He said that a politically motivated case has been registered against Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
Prosecutor informed the court that Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar is nominated in FIR therefore his bail; should not be accepted.
Police prayed court that Khokhar attacked on police due to which morale of police also became down therefore he should not be granted the bail.
On the other hand, Khokhar while talking to media said that he is politically victimized.
He said there was no complaint against them while prosecution stated ridiculous things and alleged us.
He said media cameras bear testimony that how workers of PPP were arrested.
He said peaceful protest is the right of every citizen.
Court has approved the bail of Khokhar against the surety bonds of Rs 5, 00,000.
It is vital to mention here that former president Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Zardari appeared before NAB on March 20 and a lot of PPP workers and supporters gathered outside the NAB office where after clash with police, a case was registered against more than 70 PPP supporters including PPP Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
