Jehanian: Three dacoits were arrested after being injured while one constable was injured during a police encounter in Jungle Maryala, native village of Jehanian.
According to media reports, five dacoits after stealing cattle’s were on their way when CIA and Khanewal police intercepted them for checking. Upon it they opened fire at police. In retaliatory firing, three dacoits were injured that were arrested later.
One police personnel were also injured in the police encounter.
Police have shifted the injured dacoits into nearby local DHQ hospital for first aid.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
