LAHORE : SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Senior Vice
President Iftikhar Ali Malik Tuesday urged the local chambers and
businessmen to organize annual industrial fairs at district level regularly to promote and introduce the manufacturing and production of the industries across the country to attract local buyers .

He expressed these views talking to media after inaugurating annual
industrial fair at Gujrat organized by Irfan Yousaf, former Zonal Chairman and Vice President FPCCI.

He suggested that the government, thE industries department and district administration to organize such fairs at district level in collaboration with local industrialists to promote and introduce the contribution of the business community of districts so that quality manufacturing and productions could be exported abroad which
would not only helpful for business community to enhance their activities but foreign exchange could also be earned for strengthening the economy of the country.He also demanded of setting up expo center at divisional level so that the businessmen could display their products to attract buyers.

Iftikhar Malik said the positive impact of Pakistan’s geographical location is now being fully realised through CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) projects, which are being referred to as game changers for the regional and global economy. “Against this backdrop, frequent organization of such fairs will augment prosperity of other sectors of the economy,” he added.
