Karachi: Aafia Movement Pakistan leader and president of Epilepsy Foundation of Pakistan Dr Fowzia Siddiqui while going to attend a seminar in Islamabad had a brief meeting with President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi at Karachi Airport on Monday.
An Aafia Movement Pakistan press release said President Alvi exchanged pleasantries with Dr Fowzia Siddiqui and expressed hopeful and positive sentiments regarding potential repatriation of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
Dr Fowzia is attending a meeting for the Evaluation/Recognition of National Health Sciences Research journals is scheduled on February 25-26 at HEC Islamabad. During her two-day stay in Islamabad, Dr Fowzia would also meet with the office-bearers of Supporters of Aafia Movement Punjab and KpK chapters, social and political leaders, human rights activists, columnists and journalists.
