Malir Karachi: The faulty sewerage system has destroyed the main road of UC-19 Pipri. The main road and sewerage schemes were provided by Sindh Public Health Department Karachi Devision and was inaugurated on 14 February 2017 by the hands of MPA Peoples Party Muhammad Sajid Jokhio and Lady MPA Shahina Sher Ali. This road was built in 6 crore seeing the troubles and inconvenience of public, unfortunately this road was constructed half with the utilization of sub standard material as it has proved it self and Corruption was done in this scheme and then Sindh Public Health administration left it in the half construction . People of UC-19 including shopkeepers protested in the supervision of Muhammad Qureshi, Naveed Bhutto, Kashif Balouch, Fayyaz Malah and others and said to the journalists of Malir that they are already facing the problems of sewerage damaged drains, heaps of garbage and litters and ailments which have taken birth from stagnant water and damps of rubbish and garbage in whole society and now have to face the broken road’s troubles. They said that they had complained about corruption in road scheme and sewerage scheme to concerned departments but no one had an action against. They further said that sewerage drain was constructed few month before road and just with in one years scheme had become flop so it can be understood that how it was built and how much corruption was done by using sub standard material in scheme. Shopkeepers of UC-19 Pipri said that their business has gone down because of broken main road and sewerage drain system but administration of UC-19 Pipri showing no interest and it looks that administration is not able to solve the public issues. Public of UC-19 Pipri has appealed to the Chairman District Council, Chief Minister Sindh and other concerned authorities to take action against indulged people who have had a corruption and also Sindh Public Health Department who left the road in half and could not complete it.
