LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) Lahore has extended judicial remand in respect of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif for 15 days in Ashiana Housing case. Ashiana Housing case came up for hearing before Accountability Court Lahore on Thursday. Jail authorities filed report on not producing Shahbaz Sharif in the court. It was said in the report that speaker NA has issued production orders of Shahbaz Sharif, therefore, he could not be produced in the court due to his participation in NA session. NAB prosecutor said clear copies of reference have been provided to the accused persons in Ashiana Iqbal housing case. Some documents are in Chinese language. These will be got translated from Chinese to Urdu language and their copies will be provided to the accused on next hearing. On the other side Fawad Hassan Fawad personal secretary of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, former DG LDA Ahad Cheema and some other accused were also presented in the court. The court while extending judicial remand for 15 days in respect of Shahbaz Sharif, Fawad Hassan Fawad and Ahad Cheema adjourned the hearing of the case till February 07.
