ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan ( CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa while pronouncing decision of his first case in the capacity of chief justice has rejected the plea seeking curtailment in sentence by a person convicted in drugs case
The CJP Asif Saeed Khosa left for Supreme Court (SC) after oath taking ceremony in Aiwan-e-Sadr Friday and he heard 3 criminal cases in the court.
He as CJP heard first case in respect of Noor Muhammad seeking reduction in his sentence.
The court rejected plea of Noor Muhammad maintaining that government employees were witnesses in this case who had no grudge with the convict.
Noor Muhammad was awarded four and half year sentence and fine for possessing 1200 grams charas.
