Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Speaker Legislative Assembly Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shah Ghulam Qadir on Thursday condemned the “unprovoked” Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelum Valley.
In his statement, the Speaker condemned the constant violations of the ceasefire line by the Indian forces and termed it a threat to regional peace and security”,
“The ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation,” the statement added.
“The deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarian laws,” the minister said.
He said, In fact, India is trying to divert the attention of the international community from the grave human rights violations and atrocities being committed by the Indian forces in Kashmir,” he said.
