LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has said, “late Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Ex-Jamat-e-Islami Ameer, was a great leader who always stood against tyranny and injustice in the society. He was my spiritual leader and teacher who had fought for truth and justice. I have seen Qazi Hussain Ahmed fighting with boldness and courage in 1996 sit-ins. He quoted Qazi Hussain Ahmed as saying that leadership comes through boldness and courage.
The Minister Information was addressing the pictorial exhibition of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed to mark his death anniversary held at Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) here today. He said that he had an emotional and warmly attachment with Qazi Hussain Ahmed who hardly found in Pakistani politics.
He asserted that Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Imran Khan had same moto “to stand against corruption and land mafia”. They also stood against vultures of corruption. The Minister claimed that Pakistan would soon be transformed into Welfare State like Madina, under the able leadership of Imran Khan.
The Minister also eulogized the services of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed rendered in the fields of politics and Islam. Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq, daughter of Qazi Hussain Ahmed Sumayya Raheel Qazi, DG PILAC Dr. Sughra Sadaf and a large number of youth were present at the occasion.
