Islamabad: Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) administration for the first time has decided to conduct clinical audit and constitute an inquiry board to ascertain the causes leading to death of patients during medical treatment.
According to media reports, an inquiry board comprising heads and specialists of different departments of hospital will be constituted soon.
Meeting of this inquiry board will be called on every week in which reasons behind deaths of patients during medical treatment or during operation will be taken into consideration.
