RAWALPINDI: Education Department has decided to start new academic year from March 01 instead of April 01 in all the districts including Rawalpindi in Punjab.
According to media reports the junior classes will start from March 01. Education officers of all 36 districts in Punjab province are being given target to ensure admission of 100000 children at primary level in the schools.
New admission will be started from February 01. The admission process in primary classes will be completed during March. New classes will be started from March 01. Board examination of class 5th and 8th will commence from February 02 and they will be completed till February 22.. Students of these classes will be allowed to sit in 6th and 9th class before announcement of examination result.
