MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) The AJK senior minister Ch. Tariq Farooq dispelled the impression that there were any differences among leadership of PML-N Azad Kashmir.
Talking to media at his residence here on Wednesday he said that frustrated and defeated elements under heinous designs were involved in propaganda against the government. He said PML-N leaders repose unswerving confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan adding that news of disunity among the party or no confidence were all baseless.
Farooq clarified that government was in strong hands but some elements were out to disseminate negative news through print and electronic media against government.
“Signatures of 17 members of legislative assembly are required for no confidence move after 13th amendment while opposition consists of just 11 MLAs who are not completely united either” he cleared. Opposition is just day dreaming of toppling the PML-N government, he added.
He said government was given a mandate for five years by the people of AJK and it was performing well in accordance with its manifesto. He said government was focused on good governance, strengthening of institutions and growth and development of the State. “We have ended the era of political chaos and uncertainties” he claimed.
