Rawalpindi: (PR) Rawalpindi Arts Council of the Arts on Wednesday night organized a Mehfil-e-Naat here to coincide with the holy month of Rabi ul Awal.
Member Punjab Assembly Momina Waheed was chief guest of the occasion flanked by Director RAC Waqar Ahmed, Director PR Hamid Javed, Muhammad Shakil Awan, Nafees Khan and others.
Renowned Naat Khawans Mohsin Ali, Malik Shaukat Awan, Syed Azhar Hussain, Sheikh Waqas, Qadari, Muhammad Waqas Madani, Muhammad Shahbaz, Riaz Ahmed Qadari, Qurban Niazi, Naveed Qadari, Tanvir ul Islam, Hafiz Muhammad Akram and others presented Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool and Darood-o-Salam.
Member Punjab Assembly Momina Waheed highlighted the significance of the holy month of Rabi ul Awal and its importance for the Muslims and prayed for the progress, peace and prosperity of the country.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stressed on tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity and such occasions give an opportunity to the Muslims for recalling the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH), she said.
