Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan while expressing grief over the murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar ordered the state minister for interior Shahryar Afridi to investigate the matter and present report thereof to him.
PM expressed grief over the murder of SP Tahir Khan who was abducted from Islamabad and directed KP government to cooperate with Islamabad police in inquiry.
Imran Khan in his message on social networking site twitter said, “Have followed the shock tragedy of the murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar and ordered KP government to coordinate with Islamabad police in holding an inquiry immediately. MOS interior Shahryar Afridi has been tasked to oversee it with an urgency and present the report to me.
It is vital to mention here that SP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tahir Khan Dawar who had been abducted from Islamabad was killed in the Afghanistan.
Afghan foreign ministry confirmed his killing.
Body of SP Tahir Khan was found by locals of District Dar Baba who later handed over it to Afghan officials.
