“AJK President expresses deep sorrow on demise of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim”

ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Member of AJK Legislative Assembly and President of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party (JKPP) Sardar Masood Khan has passed away at a Islamabad hospital on Sunday morning.
The 71 years old late Khalid, a son of founder president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan was admitted in Shifa International Hospital on Saturday after he suffered brain hemorrhage.
President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has expressed his deepest sorrow and shock on the sad demise of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan.The President in a statement issued here said that the death of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim was a tragic loss for all of Azad Kashmir.
He said that Sardar Khalid was not only the son of Ghazi-i-Millat Sardar Ibrahim Khan, and a scion of a great family but also a great leader with immense political acumen who was committed towards the welfare of his people.
President Masood while paying rich tribute to Sardar Khalid Ibrahim, said that he was a was a humble patriot whose loyalty for his people and country cannot be denied. He said Sardar Khalid had always raised his voice for the freedom and right to self-determination of his fellow Kashmiris who were facing atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Sardar Khalid Ibrahim, he said, was a courageous and principled politician whose untimely death has left a void which will be difficult to fill.
The President offered his sincerest condolences to the family of the bereaved, his followers and friends for this irreparable loss.
Earlier after receiving the information of his severe illness, President Masood reached Islamabad in the early hours of Sunday morning. He inquired after the health of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan in the Intensive Care Unit of Shifa Hospital. Khalid Ibrahim left two sons, two daughters and a widow behin
