MIRPUR (AJK): Amidst full-throat ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, ‘Pakistan Say Rishta Kiyaa – La e La ha Illal Lah’ and “down with Indian imperialism’ slogans, people from all segments of the civil society staged anti-India demonstrations in various parts of AJK including Mirpur late Friday to register protest against the nefarious Indian false propaganda about the human rights in Gilgit-Baltistan.
They were protesting against recent inking a book titled ‘GB And Its Saga of Unending Human Rights Violations’ by an Indian author Alok Basal carrying baseless and absolutely wrong propaganda about human rights in Gilgit / Baltistan.
“The book, reportedly launched in India yesterday, carries totally baseless, unfounded and concocted table stories about the alleged human rights violations in Gilgit / Baltistan – since the people of GB enjoy absolutely equal rights at par with any part of Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir”, speakers said while addressing a protest rally held to condemn the publication of the aforesaid book, allegedly sponsored by the Indian secret agency RAW, (Research and Analysis Wing) to malign the unending and heartiest links of the population of Gilgit / Baltistan and Jammu & Kashmir with Pakistan”, said the speakers while addressing a mammoth protest rally hosted by the Mirpur civil society under the fold of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group).
Carrying placards and banners bearing anti-India slogans, the protestants passed through major city street.
Addressing the rally speakers including President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group) Ch. Mahmood Ahmed, PPP leader Mirza Muhammad Afzal, PML (N) AJK leader Raja Naheed Thaker, senior Kashmiri journalist and analyst Altaf Hamid Rao Raja Zulfiqar Zulfi, Sr. Vice President KPC Sajaad Jiraal, students of Mirpur University of Science & Technology from GB Ejaz Dar, Riazat Hussain, Muhammad Imran, Raja Arshad Biloo and others said that primarly through the publication of the above book carrying absolutely negative and unfounded material about any sort of human rights violation in Gilgit / Baltistan, India has exposed her nefarious face against the CPEC, the under-construction gigantic project of socio economic progress and prosperity of the two close friendly and brotherly countries of Pakistan and China – since this great project of the speedy progress and prosperity of Pakistan and China was not being digested by New Delhi, they observed.
Vehemently condemning the above book, speakers said that India could not divert the attention of the external world from the ongoing planned and targeted genocide of innocent freedom-loving people of Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir at the hands of her occupational forces – through raising the negative and so-called propaganda about human rights violations in GB.
Speakers warned India to refrain from launching any misadventure against Pakistan, GB or AJK. They declared that AJK will be made the graveyard of Indian soldiers if India dared to launch any aggression against Pakistan, AJK or GB – by fighting for the defense of inch after inch of the homeland Pakistan shoulder to shoulder the valiant armed forces of Pakistan.
They further warned that over 21 crore people of Pakistan, AJK and GB will prove to the nuclear devise to eliminate India from the planet if New Delhi maneuvered any assault against Pakistan, AJK or GB – as the Indian army chief and leaders had recently lobbed threats against Pakistan, they added.
Speakers called upon the international community including forums of human rights to move ahead to ensure early peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue through exerting pressure on India to move for composite dialogue with Pakistan – since everlasting solution of Kashmir issue was the key to emergence of permanent and durable peace the world over in general and South Asia in particular.
Protesting against fresh wave of Indian state terrorism, brutalities by the occupying forces in the Indian held Jammu Kashmir, speakers called upon the harbingers of humanity to come forward play their due role taking stringent notice of the increased brutalities of Indian occupying Forces in the bleeding valley of Kashmir”, speakers said.
Speakers said that the planned mass killing of the innocent civilians is a ruthless act and to put the freedom leaders behind the bar is actually an abortive attempt of the forces to shut the voice of Kashmiris for liberation of the motherland from Indian yoke.
They made it clear that the freedom movement of the people of Jammu Kashmir is indigenous movement which can’t be compared with any terrorism. Kashmiris are freedom fighter not the terrorist, they added.
