KOTLI: (Parliament Times) The AJK Minister for Revenue and Population Welfare Sardar Farooq Sikandar visited district hospital Kotli on Monday.
The Minister held meeting with the doctors who were on strike and assured that their problems would be addressed at the earliest following which they called off the strike. Farooq told them that they were from a sacred profession of serving the suffering humanity, hence they should always keep it in mind while discharging their duties.
He said AJK government is committed to provide best medical facilities to its citizens. The doctors have to double their efforts to achieve the desired level results. He urged the doctors of district hospital Kotli to work with the passion and dedication that their profession calls for to ensure that flawless facilities are being extended to the patients.
He also called upon district administration to maintain law and order situation in the city.
On this occasion MSDH Dr. Tariq Mehmood gave a detailed briefing to the Minister. Mr. Farooq Sikandar directed that all possible resources should be pooled to provide basic facilities to the people in the hospital.
