Islamabad: A delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the H.E. Ahmed Hamed Al Ghamdi, Advisor Ministry of Energy, Industry & Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, held bilateral talks with the Pakistani side to discuss investment opportunities in the fields of energy and mining.
Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al Malki told Saudi Press Agency that the delegation includes representatives of Saudi Aramco, the Strategic Partnerships Center, the Saudi Export Development Authority, Ma’aden Company and Acwa Power Company, Indicating that the visit aims to hold talks with the Pakistani side to discuss investment opportunities in the fields of energy and mining, and a number of agreements and MOU’s will be signed by senior officials of both countries in the coming period.
“In addition to holding talks with Pakistani officials, the delegation would also visit several regions of Pakistan to explore possible investment projects” said Al- Maliki.
The opening session of the bilateral talks was attended by Pakistani Energy Minister Omar Ayoub, PM’s advisor on commerce, textiles, industries and investment, Abdul Razak Dawood, Chairman of the Pakistan Investment Committee Haroon Sharif and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Malki.
