ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned interior secretary, DG FIA and IG Islamabad today in the case pertaining to abduction of two girl students.
A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui took up the case for hearing Tuesday.
At the inception of hearing the learned judge inquired “ where is SP Police.
Deputy Attorney General told the court he is on the way and will reach soon.
The court while expressing annoyance over Deputy Attorney General Arshid Mehmood Kiani over non recovery of the girl students ordered that interior secretary, DG FIA and IG Police should appear before it in person on next hearing.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 3.
It may be mentioned that two girl students Samia and Adeeba, students of 5th and 7th class were abducted from the area falling in the jurisdiction of Khanna police. Islamabad police have failed to trace them even after lapse of two years.
Sources said there are some black sheep in police and FIA departments which are involved in human trafficking.
When asked by Morning Mail, SP CIA Gulfam Nasir Warraich said police is investigating the case afresh. However no police officer has been included in investigation so far.
