Chichawatni: As many as 2 persons died and 14 got injured including 3 women in a collision between two passenger buses at Chichawatni Bypass on Tuesday
According to the rescue sources, both of the buses were going to Lahore from Multan, accident occurred due to over speeding and careless driving by bus drivers as they continuously tried to overtake each other’s vehicle.
2 passengers died and 13 got injured including 3 women in the accident.
Bus conductor Mohammad Rizwan resident of Sialkot and unidentified person died in accident, injured have been shifted to the Tehsil Head Quarters Hospital.
Later 5 critically injured passengers Mohammad Younas, Ghulam Shabbir, Asif, Waleed and Majid were shifted to the DHQ hospital Sahiwal.
More than 100 passengers were travelling in both buses when accident happened.
Police have taken into custody both of the buses and started investigation.
