Rawalpindi: Schools Education Department Punjab (SEDP) has decided to launch an awareness campaign on smog in the educational institutions of Rawalpindi (EIOR).
A guideline consisting of 13 points has been issued to the heads of schools with the advice to send a report on the duration of smog on daily basis to Secretary Schools.
According to details SEDP has directed CEOs in connection with the smog campaign so that the students, girls and boys can be saved from smog related diseases of throat, eyes and skins.
As precautionary measures the students have been advised to use gloves and masks and glasses while travelling to and from schools on bikes, avoid the use of fans and protect hands, mouth and nose from smoke. Students are also directed not to use cold water and beverages during smog. Spray water on the grounds of schools and use wet dusters for cleanliness.
