Islamabad: (Parliament Times) A signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding was held at PARC HQs, Islamabad between Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Islamabad and Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute (UNIDO International Solar Energy Center for Technology Promotion and Transfer, China. A delegation headed by Mr. ZHOU Jianping, Director General, Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute, China visited PARC HQs, Islamabad on 26-09-2018 for the purpose and signed donation agreement.
As per terms & conditions, Gansu Institute will cooperate to demonstrate and promote the “Integrated Street Light” and “Solar Pumping System” developed by Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute (UNIDO International Solar Energy Center for Technology Promotion and Transfer, China. These Two products have the characteristics of long lifetime, convenient installation, maintenance-free and low cost. Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute (UNIDO International Solar Energy Center for Technology Promotion and Transfer, China will provide “Integrated Street Light” and “Solar Pumping System” these products free of charge to PARC. Gansu Institute will provide PARC with 50 sets of “Integrated Solar Street Lights” (20W LED each) and one (01) set of “Solar Pumping System” for free. Gansu Institute is obliged to provide training to PARC for understanding the technical parameters and operations.
Mr. ZHOU Jianping, Director General, Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute, China appreciated PARC efforts in agriculture sector and also thanked Dr. Yusuf Zafar, T.I, Chairman PARC who has kindly consented to get a MoU signed between Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute (UNIDO International Solar Energy Center for Technology Promotion and Transfer, China and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC).
