Lahore : The nation will see a visible change in hospitalsí condition in next three months, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the Health Minister of Punjab said on Saturday.
It is the dream of Prime Minister Imran Khan to elevate the Health Department to high standards, she said in her speech in a medical seminar in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
The minister said that she realizes the work pressure on doctors but there must be no compromise on good behavior towards patients. They come to hospitals in bad conditions and worried, if they make a mistake the doctors should tolerate.
There must be no complaint of mistreatment from doctors. It will be better if they understand the patient is psyche before commencing the treatment. She said.
We have to make the young doctors attuned to modern scientific needs and the senior doctors must be role models in this regard
