ISLAMABAD: Visiting Saudi deputy minister for Commerce has said his country investors will make mammoth investment in different sectors at Pakistan as Saudi Arabia wants to move ahead side by side with Pakistan.
Saudi deputy minister for commerce along with his delegation met with commerce minister Abdul Razzaq Daud here Thursday. President Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and its senior officer bearers were also present on the occasion.
Earlier Saudi ambassador in Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Ahmad Al- Malkiy said the both delegations held meeting in a cordial atmosphere. Saudi Arabia desires to move forward hand in hand with Pakistan. “ we want opportunities should be explored for promoting bilateral trade between the two countries.. In this regard delegation of Saudi investors will meet traders delegation in Pakistan.
He went on to say that Saudi government is desirous of reinforcing bilateral ties with new Pakistani government. Saudi investors are interested in making investment in petro chemical and other fields. I hope their visit to Pakistan will prove productive and soon foreign investment in Pakistan will rise.
Commerce Minister Abdul Razaq Daud thanked the guests saying talks with Saudi minister and delegation of investors remained positive. I hope Saudi Arabia will make investment of billion of rupees in Pakistan.
Saudi deputy minister for commerce Abdul Rehman evinced interest in private investment for promotion of trade between the two countries.
