Lahore: Hebei CPEC Research Center Shijiazhuang has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pakistan Traders Front (PTF) during visit of Chinese Delegation to Lahore. The MoU was signed by Mr. SHEI LIE, Head of Delegation and Raja Hassan Akhtar, Chairman Pakistan Traders Front.
The purpose of signing MoU was establishing long term, sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of trade&research, industrial linkages, trainings, delegation and Exhibitions, education and employment opportunitiesbetween the twoHebei CPEC Research Center and Pakistan Traders Front.
Raja Hassan Akhtar said Pakistan and People Republic of China are enjoying very cordial relationship with each other. Both countries have been cooperating in various fields of interest and collaborating to enjoy the relations. Pak China should jointly establishment of Industrial Estates, SEZs, Industrial cluster; Cottage Industries.He highlighted the opportunities of investment in Energy and value addition unites and added both countries have been already exploring the prospects of enhanced bilateral cooperation through joint economic projects in the areas such as energy, power, railways, telecommunications and IT under China – Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Addressing to the members of the Pakistan Traders Front, Mr.SHEI LIE, Head of Chinese Delegation said Chinese are interested for large scale investments in Pakistan, He said PTF should provide the details about the area and about the potential partners. He said Pakistani products are best to the quality and Chinese like to use them. There is a need to introduced Pakistani products in Chinese market for this PTF will be taken on board and we will play its productive role.
Mr.Xu xupeng, Research Scholar said there is big potential for leather industry which should be explored. He said exchange of trade delegations and timely dissemination of trade and investment-related information can help boost two-way trade. He appreciated role of Pakistan Traders Front for economic development of the Country and said economic globalization and regional integration has provided enormous opportunities for further cooperation between China and Pakistan.
