Rawalpindi;(Parliament Times) Punjab Council of the Arts arranged a cultural parade to mark Independence Day at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore. Rawalpindi Arts Council also sent a cultural troupe who represented Rawalpindi division at the occasion. The first ever cultural parade in the history of Punjab Arts Council was the result of dynamic leadership of its Executive Director Saman Rai who spent days & night to make the parade successful. Additional Secretary Akhtar Abbas was also part of the colorful parade. Waheed Murad and Gurya Pakistani gave wonderful performance.
