Islamabad: An accidental gunfire at the hands of a cops escorting convicted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the Accountability caused stampede on the occasion of his presence in the court.
Personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) were stunned by the move, made a security shield and surrounded the court.
The Police man responsible for gun fire was disarmed in no time and has been arrested for interrogation.
Later the Police said , the gun went off accidentally.
Further decision will be taken after completion of the investigation into the matter, added the Police.
