Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday dismissed a petition by Jamshid Dasti, seeking a vote recounting in NA 182.
The Court while dismissing the plea directed Dasti to consult respective forum of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
A three member bench headed by Chief Justice Pakistan (CJP) heard the case Wednesday.
Jamshid Dasti during the hearing took the stance that lights were switched off at 11pm, while the ROs announced results at 2:00pm on the next day. While requesting for a vote recounting he argued that the Lahore High Court had issued stay orders.
The court directed Jamshid Dasti to approach relevant forum , ECP and rejected his plea.
