Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, a civilian was martyred and another injured in firing by Indian troops in Kohli area of Gool tehsil in Ramban district.
According to Media reports, the incident took place late night. The locals told media that the troops opened fire and killed a civilian identified as Muhammad Shafi Gujjar and injured another Shakeel Ahmad. Shakeel has been shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
Both the civilians, according to locals, were engaged in cattle trade.
SSP Ramban Mohan Lal said an FIR has been registered against 58 Rashtariya Rifles of the Indian army at Dharamkund police station.
The troops killed killed 12 people in just four days.
