Rawalpindi: Forest Department has started planting 9 lacs saplings in Rawalpindi range.
As per media report, Forest Officer said, “the price of plants in nurseries of forest department has been reduced to Rs.8 from Rs.10. All kinds of plants are available here and ranges of plants (fruit plants, flower plants & shadow plants) are being planted in the government offices, schools, colleges, universities.”
“Strict ordered have also been issued to protect these plants, monitoring of planted plants will be done too and the target of planting all plants will be met”, he added.
“It’s our motto to make Punjab green”, he further added.
