Peshawar: The spree of violence against Transgender community in Pakistan continues unabated as some unidentified assailants attacked three members of the community in Peshawar and left them injured.
They were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
According the General Secretary of Transgender Association, the members of community were on the way to invite their friend to perform in a function when the unidentified assailants attacked their vehicle. Upon resistance they were stabbed and injured.
The attackers also opened gunfire but luckily no one was hurt, she added.
They also claimed that the Police despite knowing the suspects were reluctant to arrest them.
