Islamabad: National Book Foundation (NBF) has established a best center as shehr-e-Kiatb ar F-7 Markaz, Jinnah super market Islamabad for promotion of Books culture and book reading habits. There are more than thirty different bookshops of well-known publishers of Pakistan for the book-lovers, families, students and people from all walks of life.
The NBF shehr-e-kitab is attached with the building of National Library. There are available separate adjacent “Reading Room” and “Kitab Café” as sitting and refreshment area for the people. These structures are unique in nature where the families, books lover, intellectuals, writers, poets and authors come there and exchange literary views to each others in an ideal environment. The books of all kinds, stationary items, textbooks and stock of old books are also available there at 50% discounted rates seven days a week from morning 10 am to night 9 pm. The students, teachers and families take keen interest in it and appreciate the NBF efforts of promotion of book culture in the country.
