Rawalpindi: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi who was convicted by the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) Court in connection with ephedrine case will file an appeal in the High Court against the decision after consultation with his legal team.
According to media reports, due to holiday on Sunday the administrative staff was not available in the jail and Hanif Abbasi could not meet anyone. But today (Monday) legal team will visit Adiala jail to meet Hanif Abbasi.
Reports say that Hanif Abbasi has said that he will definitely challenge the decision in the court and he will not feel shame on this decision.
He exhorted the people to stamp out lion on July 25 to thwart the nefarious designs.
Earlier, on Saturday night Abbasi was arrested on the premises of CNS Court and shifted to Adiala Prison. He was reportedly lodged in the barracks of anti terrorism accused after medical report.
