Islamabad: Section 144 has been imposed in Federal Capital due to security concerns.
As per the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat , section 144 has been slapped on the sale of fireworks, stone crushing, use of sound system and loudspeakers, Arms display , holding a public gathering, banners and poster displaying in Islamabad for 2 months. The Section 144 will take effect immediately and will remain in place for 2 months.
It’s also mentioned in the notification that violators of Section 144 will be dealt with under law of land.
