Lahore: The Lahore police have registered dozens of cases against PML-N leaders for violating law.
The cases have been registered under section 7 and other serious nature sections, include murder attempt and terrorism.
The Lohari Gate police registered a case PML-N President Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Javed Hashmi, Uzma Bukhari, Saira Afzal Tarar, Maryam Aurangzeb, Kamran, Col (retd) Mubashir, Mushahid Hussain Syed and dozens others party workers under terrorism and murder attempt acts.
Meanwhile, Nawab Town police registered a case against Saiful Maluk Khokhar, Malik Shafiq, Malik Afzal, Malik Irfan and 500 others under terrorism act for holding procession and damaging government property despite imposition of sector 144.
Of these booked suspects, 96 are nominated suspects and 655 unknown. The cases have been registered against them for attacking police officials and opening fire at police officials.
