ISLAMABAD(Daily P.Times): Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), in a landmark initiative has announced the establishment of a degree awarding institution in Islamabad. OPF vows to offer the children of Overseas Pakistanis and general public at large, to pursue the best possible educational facilities in the fields of Business Administration, Management, Computer Sciences and Media Studies. The campus is planned to be constructed on a total covered area of 4.1 acres in the easily accessible F-11/2 sector of Islamabad.
OPF is committed to provide state of the art class rooms, libraries, laboratories, hostels and extracurricular facilities in order to ensure best possible services in the education sector for overseas Pakistanis.
Considering the strict requirements set forth by HEC, OPF has hired the services of Air University which will assist OPF in fulfilling all the indicators of HEC to get the status of a degree awarding institute.
Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) is a government organization mandated to protect the rights of overseas Pakistanis for the past 40 years. It has played a pivotal role in highlighting the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis and providing viable solutions to those problems. Besides education, OPF has been actively serving overseas Pakistanis and their dependents in the areas of housing, welfare, complaint redressal and on other social issues.
