Lahore: The first contact was made between the caretaker Punjab government and leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on the matter of reception of former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on their arrival at Lahore.
“We will not tolerate any hurdle in the reception of our Quaid” said PML-N leadership during meeting.
“The permission of taking out rally is only till Election Day, if the protest would be peaceful no action will be taken otherwise action will be taken on the violation of Section 144” said caretaker law minister Punjab Shaukat Javed during meeting.
The PML-N leadership replied, “It is our right to welcome Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, we will not tolerate any hurdle on the way to reception of our leader.”
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will arrive at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore on Friday July 13; PML-N leadership is in full preparation to welcome them on their arrival while on the other hand National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has made the strategy of airlift both leaders from AIIA Lahore to Adiala Jail on chopper.
