“Flays political parties for not mentioning K-issue in their elections manifmestos”

Muzaffarabad: Chairman United Jihad Council Syed Salah ud din criticized the political parties for ignoring Kashmir issue in their election manifestos for upcoming elections in Pakistan.
Syed Sallah ud Din addressed a massive press conference in Central Press Club Muzaffarabad here on Sunday saying that 8th July is an important day in the history of Kashmir freedom of movement when a young freedom fighter in Indian Occupied Kashmi (IOK) martyred along with his two other companions.
He stated that martyrdom of Burhan Wani started a new move of freedom in Kashmir and as of today, “we have been apprised that there is curfew in IOK on his second martyrdom day” he said.
While mentioning the Indian atrocities in IOK, Syed voiced that Indian occupation forces have killed 3 more civilians on Saturday and masses in IOK are fronting Indian armed forces with stones and sticks. Syed Salah ud Din reiterated that Indian courts have given an open permission to its army for using Pellet guns against innocent civilians, “24122 people became victim of Pellet guns for the last two years among which 128 have completely lost their eye sight besides 1227 others as partially blind” he said.
Moreover, he stated that 19320 people have been arrested in the last two years and these figures were officially admitted by the Indian authorities. Syed Salah ud Din endorsed that recent report of United Nation Human Rights Commission on Indian brutalities in IOK and demanded that International communities including Human Rights Organizations, United Nations Security Council and other civilized citizen in India to stand against deteriorating human rights violations in IOK and implement the resolutions passed by United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan (UNCIP) before long. Syed Salah ud Din also criticized the political parties in Pakistan who are going to compete in upcoming elections in Pakistan for not scoping Kashmir issue among the priority of their manifesto.
“It has really saddened me that political parties of Pakistan presenting allied manifestos but they did not even mention Kashmir issue which is always considered as jugular vein in their speeches” he stated.
He added that all political parties including PML-N, PPP and PTI have not written a single line in their manifestos about Kashmir issue which is an example of dishonesty to the people of Kashmir.
He said that Kashmir issue has always been exploited by political parties of Pakistan.
Syed also criticized the present government of AJK, saying that practical steps are needed to address by the incumbent government of AJK. He also cautioned the AJK government besides government of Pakistan to take practical measures regarding Kashmir issue otherwise situation will become out of control. He addressed that solution of Kashmir issue is in favor of both Pakistan and India as both countries spends an immense amount of their budget on defense and in result poverty is increasing relentlessly in both countries.
While addressing the Press Conference, Syed Salah ud Din rejected the concept of Daesh (ISIS) or any other international organization presence in Kashmir, “the freedom struggle movement in Kashmir is entirely indigenous” he cleared.
Syed Salah ud Din appreciated that speech of British Parliamentarians to conduct referendum in disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir and considered it as an achievement heeding towards Kashmir freedom movement. Earlier, a protest rally under the aegis of United Jihad Council was held in the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir regarding second death anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani Shaheed here on Sunday.
The protest rally was staged with the slogan of “Azm e Jihad Rally” (Vowing to Jihad) was started from Sathra and ended on Burhan Muzaffar Wani Chowk, participants of rally chanted slogan against India, “Hum kya chahty, Azaadi”, (We want Freedom), “One slogan one track, Go India Go Back” and “Burhan is our Hero”.
Participants of rally were holding banners and placards demonstrating the reiteration of mujahids (freedom fighters) that their destination and aim of life is freedom from Indian occupation.
Moreover, They paid tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir freedom of movement besides demanding UN to play its role on Kashmir issue and implement its long awaited resolutions passed on Kashmir.
