LAHORE: World renowned classical singer Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan from Pakistan has been selected as ambassador for peace in Washington.
Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan who is from Sham Chorasi gharana is currently on visit to US and he has been selected as ambassador for peace in Washington.
Universal Peace Federation which works under the Washington Post Federation and the Common Grounds USA has arranged a ceremony on this count which will be held during American Leadership conference.
Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan in his message to Pakistani nation particularly his fans has said that he has presented Pakistan soft image and message of peace before world through his music.
