Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has formally signed an agreement with a private IT company to maintain computerized record of thousands of vehicles in the state.

According to details the department of Transport, which is mandated to regularize public service transport across the liberated territory, has signed the agreement with a private IT company C-Digital and work on the project has been started accordingly. “The initiative will go a long way to generate income besides putting an end to extortionist system and squabbles between the transporters”, says a press release issued by the department here on Tuesday. Chairman transport authority Raja M Abbas Khan, young officer Nadeem Ahmed Janjuwa and Ch. Saqibl Ali have played key role in implementing the project within a short span of time.
