Lahore: Aisha Ahad has submitted an application in South Cantonment Police Station (SCPS) against son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz and son in law Ali Imran.
It is recalled that Aisha Ahad has sued that former member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz has married with her in 2010 of which former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Begum Kulsoom Nawaz were the witnesses and have record of all messages from the Sharif family.
According to application submitted in the South Cantonment Police station by Aisha Ahad that on February 16, 2011 Mr. Hamza Shahbaz under the pretext of shifting of her house called her and he along with Ali Imran tortured her, threatened to kill her and snatched mobile phone, jewellery and purse.
According to Aisha Ahad Hamza Shahbaz and Ali Imran have kept her in wrongful confinement. She said in the morning when she managed to escape live then the driver took them to another location.
According to application Aisha Ahad said that Hamza Shahbaz and Ali Imran want to get her signature on a blank stamp paper. Aisha Ahad further said that the bandits of Hamza Shahbaz have stolen from her house lap top, Marriage Certificate and other documents.
On the other hand police said that they are reviewing the maintainability of the application for legal action.
It is recalled that after the lapse of 7 years on the order of the Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar a case has been registered in the Islampura police station against the 6 persons including Hamza Shahbaz pertaining to torture on Aisha Ahad.
In this case registered against Hamza Shahbaz in the Islampura police station includes the provisions of torture, theft, extortion, damaging of property, threats to kill and an abortive attempt of sexual harassment. In the case in addition to Hamza Shahbaz, Zulfikar Cheema, Inspector Attique Dogar, former Inspector General Rana Maqbool and Umar Yousuf have been nominated.
