ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly today discussed the recommendations made by the Senate for incorporation in the next year’s budget.
As Finance Minister Miftah Ismail took the floor to wind up debate on the budgetary proposals, Shireen Mazari of PTI pointed out lack of quorum.
On counting the House was not in order and the chair adjourned the House to meet again on Monday at 5 p.m.
Earlier, the House passed a resolution approving the formation of a forum to resolve the problems and issues of the former members of National Assembly. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab moved the motion.
