Islamabad: (Parliament Times) While congratulating the party leadership for organizing a successful peace march on 16th March against the continued cross firing and shelling on both sides of ceasefire line the JKLF chairman M. Yasin Malik has expressed his profound grief over the death of JKLF activist Naeem Butt and prayed for the departed soul.

In a telephonic speach to a joint session of central and zonal party leadership held here at Central Information Office, Rawalpindi the JKLF chairman asked his party leadership to play more serious and responsible role at this crucial point in time wherein Indian repression against freedom loving people is at its peak.

He directed the party leadership to discourage certain so called nationalist elements sitting abroad who on the behest of India want to divide Kashmiri people by making false propaganda against the party leadership and by projecting Maharaja Gulab Singh and his family as a maseah of Kashmiri nation.

Castigating such elements who were inadvertently peddling this narrative at the hands of Indian design he said that Maharaja`s rule was the darkest era of our history and about whom Quaid-e-Tehreek Amanullah Khan has written enough literature to open the eyes of such people. While issuing a strong warning to these elements Malik directed the party leadership to take stern action against such members of the party if there is any.

On the emergency situation in IOK senior vice chairman Abdul Hameed Butt while condemning the gruesome attack by Indian forces on Kashmiri people wherein 20 got killed and more than 100 injured, directed the party structures all over the world to have week long protests against Indian state terrorism in IOK.

The other leaders who were present in the meeting were Commander Farooq, Saleem Haroon, Sajid Sidiqi, Kh. Manzoor A. Chishti, Dr. Toqeer Gilani, Raja Tufail, Sardar Anwar, Manzoor Khan, Hafiz Mumtaz, Khursheed Mirza, Afzal Baigh, Sardar M. Hanif, Jalil Fareed, Raja Ubaid, Ch. Youduf, Malik Liaqat, Zeeshan Ameen etc.
