Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan called on Chief Minister (CM)Punjab Shehbaz Sharif here on Monday at Model Town Lahore.
According to the media reports the two leaders discussed party matters and prevailing political situation in the country.
Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan informed CM Shehbaz Sharif about his reservations and how the senior Party Leadership which faced troubles during Musharraf regime for the survival of the Party was being ignored.
CM Shehbaz assured him of addressing all his grievances and stressed to stay with the party.
The Punjab Chief Minister was quoted as saying to Nisar “Your role in the country’s current political scenario is a crucial one, come forward, participates in party affairs and assist us”.
He also asked Nisar to abstain from taking reservations on media but to resolve on party platform.
The meeting lasted around two hours which was said to have been held on after Shehbaz Sharif’s telephonic talk with the former Interior Minister.
