Chakwal : At least 4 passengers were dead and 28 others injured in two road accidents on Monday morning.
The first incident took place at Chakwal-Mianwali road near village Bidhar Wanhar when Islamabad bound passenger coach coming from Dera Ghazi Khan has collided with dumper coming from opposite direction. As a result 4 passengers were killed on the spot.
On receiving information, the Rescue 1122 rushed on the crime scene and immediately shifted the dead bodies and injured to City Hospital Talagang. The main cause of accident is the rash driving of bus driver.
The second accident has occurred near Balkasar interchange on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway when a speedy passenger coach hit the trailer from the back side. As a result 17 passengers were injured.
The driver of the passenger coach has stuck inside the coach and Rescue 1122 cut the body of the bus and recovered the injured driver and immediately shifted him to DHQ hospital Chakwal.
