ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to separate Faizabad Dharna case and Khatm-e- Nabuwwat case.
Raja Zafar ul Haq committee report has been filed in the court.

A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui took up the case for hearing Tuesday.

Deputy Attorney General (DAG) could not submit Raja Zafar ul Haq Committee report.

Upon it the court remarked “ if the report is not filed till 1 pm today then Prime Minister (PM) will be summoned . Federal government is not serious at all in complying with court orders.

Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui remarked there is no bigger issue than amendment in election act. Court is issuing notices persistently but federal government is persistently violating court orders .

He observed contempt of court proceedings can be initiated against interior minister, law minister and other responsible persons in the event of non compliance of court’s orders. Time is given till 1 pm.

Deputy Attorney General Arshid Kiyani filed the report in the court when the court resumed the hearing at 1 p.m

The court remarked “ the report will not be opened till the court’s orders. This is Khatm-e-Nabuwwat case and it will be heard on day to day basis.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Wednesday.
