Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party and President District Poonch Hafiz Muhammad Sagher Khan has said that peace in South Asia region would remain elusive till the dispute of Kashmir is resolved peacefully in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

In a press statement the PPP leader said that India was committing serious human rights violations in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir saying that the international community must shun its policy of indifference and play its much needed role in resolving the long pending dispute.

In order to express complete solidarity with the people of IHK he urged the PPP workers to attend Kashmir solidarity rally being held on 5th of February in Lahore. Highlighting the PPP founder’s role in highlighting the Kashmir issue he said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had announced to wage a thousand years war to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation.
